Manchester Things to do

Club Liv: Manchester’s most glamorous night out.

On Deansgate, next to the Albert Hall, you’ll find the high concept Club LIV. The exclusive, VIP venue boasts a terrace bar, raised DJ booth, and LED wall making it one of the most talked about (and Instagrammed) venues in Manchester.

Club Liv’s slogan is ‘Life is a party’ so if you’re looking for one of the best nights out in Manchester, you need look no further. As far as reservation-only nights go, this is a good one. You’ll want to dress to impress (but why wouldn’t you, anyway?) and be prepared to splash some cash, but we think you’ll find it’s worth it.

What to expect from Club Liv

VIP venues don’t always live (get it?) up to the hype, but Club LIV does. Downstairs the tastefully decorated nightclub boasts a large dance floor surrounded by VIP booths where you can get champagne and spirit bottles to the table. And on the roof, a spacious terrace makes the perfect location for drinks in the summer months.

Just don’t turn up in jeans and trainers, or without a reservation: you won’t get in.

What you should know about Club Liv

Club LIV’s minimal website offers no information but a reservation form, so if you want to secure your spot at one of the best clubs in Manchester that’s a good place to start. It’s fairly extravagant so those who prefer a chilled night out at the pub might not be into the vibe. But if you’re up for a taste of glamour and celebrity this should be on your list of things to do in Manchester. Manchester United stars are even known to have graced Club LIV from time to time.

The name, LIV, is the Roman numeral for club owner Mo Mohamud’s favourite number: 54… Okay maybe you didn’t strictly need to know that but it’s kinda interesting if you’re the type of person who wonders how clubs get named (and it could be a lot worse!).

Why you should go to Club Liv

Club LIV is the place to go for a bougie night out in Manchester. The decor is on point: extravagant without veering into tacky which is a hard balance to strike in the VIP nightclub world, the male staff are uniformed in leather kilts and dickie bows, and the crowd is guaranteed to be dressed up to the nines as well. If you’re after a big night out, get your reservation in at Club LIV.

Club LIV is open from 10pm – 4am Friday and Saturday. Reservations are required and cost of entry varies.
