Crazy golf was not on our bingo cards for the weird fads that would take off in the 2010s, but here we are… Shoreditch is bursting with them. But when it comes to the best crazy golf courses in East London, Junkyard Golf is the only place to go.
Whether you just love crazy golf and are well into the current boom, or are looking for something to pass a few hours in an afternoon or evening in Shoreditch, Junkyard Golf is one of the best things to do in London.

There are four nine-hole courses at Junkyard: the Dirk course is a 90s acid house of horrors that will make you want to head straight into the rave. Pablo is a polluted tropical jungle course. Gary is a scrapheap challenge style course that carries you through tyre towers, burnt out cars, and other auto junk covered in UV paint. And Bozo is freakshow themed with fairground rides, carnival clowns, and other circus sidenotes.
As you swing through the courses you can sip on Junkyard’s own Pilsner and frozen cocktail slushies from their extensive drinks menu. A round will take you less than an hour and a half to complete, depending on the size of your group… And how good you are at crazy golf.

For groups of six or more you have to book your slot at Junkyard Golf, and even if you’re a smaller team it’s recommended. Junkyard Golf is often fully booked, especially on weekends, so if you’re planning a trip already it’s best to secure your place.
Off peak games are £11 per person between Sunday and Wednesday, and peak time games on Thursdays and Saturdays are £13 per person. During off peak hours, students get 50% off and if you know someone who loves golf (but might not want to pay themselves) you can pick up gift cards to surprise your friends.

Whether you’re a group of friends or a family out looking for things to do in London, or a couple looking for a date more interesting than the pub, Junkyard Golf is sure to deliver. It’s fun and relaxing without the overly competitive edge some city sports can bring to your vibe – and you can still enjoy tasty drinks as you make your way around.
Junkyard Golf London opens after lunch on weekdays and from 12pm on the weekend. It’s open late every night of the week.
